Non-communicable diseases constitute a big part of the health crisis that displaced communities face.
These treatable diseases often lead to complications that turn to greater health risks and even death.
Veejay travelled to Marawi City in Lanao del Sur in the Philippines with Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to check on the health status of the displaced communities in different shelters and evacuation camps.
